Vizi Presents at ITERA

Muncie, Ind. (April 5, 2014) – Dr. Stephan Jones, Professor of Information and Communication Sciences at Ball State University and Dr. Rodger Smith, Senior Vice President and Chief Creative Officer at Vizi, presented “Multimodal Technologies for Learning: A Practical Example in Basic Electricity” to attendees of ITERA 2014 in Louisville, KY.  Armed with examples from Vizi’s multimodal text Basic Electricity in Information and Communication Technology, Drs. Jones and Smith introduced instructors in the Information Technology field to the advantages of engaging students with Vizi, a modern textbook alternative.

ITERA endeavors to advance telecommunications science through the creation of a forum for telecommunications and networking professionals, educators, and researchers.
